Cutting through your armor, Piercer arrives in VERSION 0.3c!
> VERSION 0.3c has arrived!
> Introduction:
The cosmic void is enveloped by spiritual essence
of the unknown. Tilted within the holes of the
galaxies. The Piercer manifests through them,
brings them down to his conjured mechanical
pincers, and sends them to claw you through your
armor... and your soul.
The 37th Guardian is here... and you're not going
to like standing in the opposing zone against him.
> Change Logs:
- Lots of bug fixes mostly on Player 2 not working
properly with recent major changes among the
Guardians like Exalter's blade teleporting, UI
placement of Tracker's Skill 1 buff, Technician's
wall shock not stunning on 2nd cast, and more.
General gameplay bug fixes are also patched.
- Game optimization yet again. Control mapping
movement, timing of abilities and Powershots,
they are all improved. Numbers are also rescaled
for more balanced yet satisfying combat warfare.
- UI changes, lots and lots of UI changes. You will
notice them when you get into the game. Also,
the Core Glyph icon can now be seen even when
the game is not Paused. Right above the time UI.
- Balancing centralized more in combat like Fury
and Tenacity initial and scaling points increased,
Glyph effects are improved, blessings of bonus hp
coming from Special Attack being set now also
provides Energy, and many more, including
respective buffs and nerfs for most of the
Guardians that are meta and not alike.
- NEW MECHANIC ADDED: Guardian SCALER!
> GEARING UP!
CG's current gameplay is everything I loved already.
Scaling core pick ups per level. Items and Chip
alternating to either provide boost and resources
or improving your non-primary stats. Rage now
adjusts faster. Special Attack being available every
20 seconds with provided hp and Energy. Fury and
Tenacity being more effective. All work very well
and I love it.
Which is why it's time to add something to the mix,
one that is a bit different but also doesn't change
anything too big but only improves what's already
in there.
The Scaler mechanic basically empowers your
Guardian in a vague form which is applied
every minute as long as you have the required
conditions.
Every minute, if you already have an active Core
Glyph. In other words, you already picked up a
Core, you get a portion of health back and also
generate Energy. But these are improve depending
on your Rage points. Positive Rage adds more
Energy, Negative Rage gives back more HP! Not
just that, there are three instances of Gearing up.
First minute adds 3 to all stats and improves the
Scaler. On first five-minute mark adds 6 to all stats
and even improves the Scaler further more. Lastly,
on 10-minute mark, where toxic lasers spawn, all
stats of both players are increased by 9 and the
Scaler reaches its limit. Every minute, it boosts
your Guardians with HP, Energy, and moral that
only keeps growing with these three instances.
The longer the game goes, the stronger both
players get.
As of now, this mechanic has no info or description
in any form from the game. If you're a player who
does not read change logs or no one else talked
to you about it, then this basically acts like a ghost
mechanic to you. You may not entirely get what it
accurately does, but seeing it works in the game
along with the UI and AI will give you the idea
eventually.
It's good, it works, I'm proud of it, and you will
be able to tell difference. Provided that every
minute, you gain resources and free stats, how
bad can it be? This just adds more to the things
that Guardians' overgrew from time to time.

> THE PIERCER. <
Piercer is added as a new playable Guardian in the
game. He's a Burst that can do massive damage if
done right. He alternates from usage of his
Powershots and abilities and can disjoint your
enemy Guardian into picking the wrong core
- Reworked Cabalist.
- Reworked Warden.

the next one that compliment the ones that are
already here assuming it plays out the way I want it
